About
(Strong-Armin') Monster Brawlers Association is a Rivals of Aether 2 competitive league hosted by and for a group of friends who share an interest in furry culture, combat sports, and fighting games. The goal is to emulate a professional wrestling league using Rivals 2 bracket results as the outcome of a fight between two OC (original character) competitors. Bracket results earn the competitors points throughout the season to determine their rank in the league. At the end of the season, the highest ranked fighters will compete for the title of Champion!SAMBA is hosted by Rivals 2 content creator Sol Birdguy. Participation Rules
1. You are responsible for your own participation. There are too many entrants for me to ask each individual person if they'll be playing in every upcoming event. Events will be announced in the appropriate channel and signing up will be your own responsibility.2. One character per participant. Let's just keep this simple for now. We can talk about character retirement at some point in the future.3. You cannot take losses personally. We are emulating professional wrestling so sometimes you just have to play the part. And sometimes playing the part means pretending to take it personally!4. If you're not sure who is comfortable participating in in-character content, especially smack talk, do not assume they are. Everyone is participating at a level they are most comfortable at!5. This is a collaborative game! If you and another player want to flesh out a storyline, get in touch and I'll do what I can to support it through brackets and events!
Game Rules
1. We will be playing with best of 3 rules and standard tournament rules unless stated otherwise.2. In game 1, a player can request the TO perform a character blind pick. Every subsequent game, loser of the previous game has character pick advantage and may choose to change characters in response to the winner's character. The winner is still allowed to switch characters, but must pick first in a character selection dispute.3. You are responsible for reporting your games to the TO. Make sure you have online replays auto-save to prevent disputes.4. Games are to be played on North and Central American servers only (This means Queretaro is allowed), unless both players live outside of the region and would like to gentleman's to a server between them.5. Communicate to your opponent if you would like to perform a button check in-game before performing that button check.6. Games can only be canceled in the first 15 seconds of gameplay for controller and gameplay issues. For the sake of time, games that are ended abruptly through a game crash, disconnect, etc. count as a loss for the disconnected player. There's always next game!7. What TO says goes! There simply isn't enough time to mediate every edge case.
